This is an illustration of a bride and groom opening a mirror. Kagami-yaki is a production that opens the lid of a sake barrel by cracking it with a mallet in a place where you can enjoy it, such as a wedding ceremony. The mirror opening at the reception is done in hopes of marital family and prosperity of the descendants.
